I have been into biking pretty much all my life. I got my first bike (a moped) when I was 16. I had my first proper bike when I graduated, a Honda Superdream. It was cheap as this was 1982 and the year when learners could only ride bikes of up to 125cc. It lasted a long time, but I sold it in order to buy the engine for my kit car.
Fast forward to 1998. I changed jobs and bought the Suzuki Bandit. I joined TVAM, did more biking and graduated to the Yamaha Thundercat. A lovely 600, much underrated. For the last few years I’ve been riding a year 2000 Fireblade, the first of the fuel injected models. It is still the best bike I’ve ever ridden. So much so that I've not replaced it, even though it's now 7 years old.
