More cycling

Gill got me a cleverer GPS (Garmin Etrex Vista C); very posh. So I attached it to my mountain bike and went looking for geocaches this morning. An hour or so and 5.738 fruitless miles later I got home covered in mud. I stopped counting how many times I fell off; great fun.

Biking in the Woods

Made it. I had to fix the bike first (lower gear selectors had jammed). With the aid of my 'trouser bands' I managed a short tour of the woods. Ready for Christmas now.

I took the day off and did some light shopping and lunch with Stephen. The restaurant was noisy with staff parties. It was busy and some of the waiters seemed lost. They forgot our starter and twice attempted to serve us someone else's food.
