Mobb's Hole

We went to Mobb's Hole today. It was very windy and muddy. Steve didn't heed our warnings or accept my offer of hiking boots. Here he is grumping his way across a ploughed field.

Bus Stop

No not the Monroe film - I went out to the car this morning, on my way to the final Christmas food shop and found a woman standing by my car.

"Morning", I said. Maybe it was my expression ("why are you standing by my car?"),

She said "I'm waiting for a bus".

"Oh" I said "I didn't know there was a bus stop here.

"It's a village", she said, "you don't need to mark the bus stops, people just know".

So, there it is, our house is a bus stop.

Off for Christmas

Everything ramped up and I had various full day meetings / reviews, so the last few days at work were very busy.   With the children home for Christmas, now is the time to call an end to work for 2006 and chill out.

Here's hoping that I do and a merry Christmas to all.
