The Study

We have started work on the study. Here's a picture of it just as the dividing walls were removed. A lot of the floorboards (pine) are frail (woodworm) so will need replacing. Meanwhile, we've had the rest, which is oak and looks ok, treated. Apparently woodworm prefer soft woods - they tend to die in oak as there's not enough cellulose.

Steeple Morden and Back

We tried a different route, this one a round trip to Steeple Morden. A Bit muddy and it rained on the way back, but we reckon that this will make a good Sunday pub stroll in the summer. The duck was in the front garden of one of the houses in the village. Cute.

Lovely relaxing weekend with Richard and Tannis. Also Lee and Paula came for a muddy hike and meal on Saturday.

More Snow

Heavier this time, much more impressive. It caused a certain amount of chaos in Cambridgeshire but went the next day.

House Sign

I fitted the new house sign (and threw away the old one), much nicer.

Finland

Went to Finland (to see a well known mobile 'phone manufacturer). Here we all are (Vincent, me, Phil, William and George) enjoying ourselves after the meeting. Then we all went and sat in the Ryanair tin shed for a few hours...
