


I took my courage in my hands and tackled some of the wiring. The problem is that the house's wiring is early GPO (blue, orange, green and brown), whereas modern wiring is (blue/white, white/blue, orange/white and white/orange). The top picture is the old bell, now disconnected.
I've wired up the Bang and Olufsen base station and answering machine in the dining room (finally removing them from Stephen's room) and tidied up the wiring by the living room door.
Next step is to move the modem router to the cat hall.
